Wedding Party

Meet the family and friends that we have asked to stand by our side.

Kellie Davis

Matron of Honor

Kellie and I became cousins when my mom married her uncle in the 90s. We became friends just after that and spent many weekends just being kids. We became (sorority) sisters and roommates in undergrad. She came with me to Texas, where I helped her find her ginger match! Kellie has helped me through big life decisions (i.e., Boston or Texas; boots or flops; am I being crazy or am I right?). We have stirred up so much fun together and I refuse to pick a single favorite memory. Honorable mention: dancing on the stage together during her bachelorette party.

Anthony Stringer

Best Man

As my best man, there are too many memories to describe just one that makes Anthony such a good friend. From playing Halo till the sun came up to working through life's problems, we have done it all together. I, nor any of my other groomsmen, could ever define one time with Anthony when every time is a great time. He truly is a best man.

Lindsey Stepongzi

Bridesmaid

Lindsey is my big sister and she has given me four creative, silly, kind nieces that I truly cherish. When times are hard, I can come to her, and I know she will just "get it." I never stopped looking up to her as I grew up. We recently lost our grandmother; Lindsey held my hand when I needed it and passed me a margarita when I needed that too. I am so thankful for a big sister who is always there just the way that I need her.

Martin Leal

Groomsman

Anyone who knows the history of Martin and I know that we have been through thick and thin together. My favorite memories of Martin are all the times we would come home from something. It was never the event itself that made my night, it was the drive there. Martin always knew how to make it feel like a party - arriving and leaving. There were so many long nights driving to other cities for a party or a road trip with tons of chaos and laughs. From jumping out of a two-story building to 13-hour drives from Moab, Martin has been one of my dearest friends.

Kate Schmidt

Bridesmaid

New last name check... This beautiful bride is my baby sister. She is incredibly strong and incredibly kind and caring. My favorite memory with Kate would be the time when we sat in Grandma Joan's floor goofing off. We made Grandma Joan laugh when I hit you on the cheek so I did it over and over (and a little too hard) just to see Grandma Joan's face turn purple. She was the first person who knew about Zac. When I first met Zac, I knew he would get along with my sister (and crush her playing board games) and I looked forward to the day when we could all play together.

John Cravey

Groomsman

As one of my best friends, John is such an influence and a cherished buddy. To be honest, I don't know how I was so lucky to have him as a friend. In every situation we've have been through it always seems like I could not have survived without him. One of my favorite memories that come to mind was when that role was reversed on his 21st birthday. In just one night, I damaged my car, lost John, and found him. To this day, I don't exactly remember all of the places we went. John has always made life a fun place, and I was glad to share every event in life with him.

Emily Moricz

Bridesmaid

Emily means something special to each person that she meets. Emily is serving, joyous, kind, and an incredible friend. I am so lucky that she even talks to me. Emily has spent hours with me sharing her life, providing wisdom in my life, and helping us both grow as people and as Christians. It is tough to list just one favorite memory. Emily taught me to appreciate open arms, warm food, Mumford & Sons, post-church lunch, homemade soup, watching her pretend to be a cockroach, and embracing my own decisions.

Austin Drexler

Groomsman

Austin has been and always be my oldest and dearest friend. From making flipbooks in middle school to having fireworks battles in college. Austin and I have had too many memories for me to list just one. Some of my favorites were going to a skate park for his birthday, having one too many LAN parties, or just chilling at the beach during a storm. Austin has always been a close and amazing friend that I cant wait to share more memories with (like my wedding).

Victoria Lopez

Bridesmaid

Victoria, Victoria, Victoria... When I try to think of a favorite memory, I just sit here and laugh. There are no words to describe this girl but if I had to take a stab at it, I would say that she is incredibly fun and supporting and I wouldn't trade Vicky for anyone. One time Victoria and I went to the gym to work on our #fitness and then we drove directly to Adams Rib Co. to feast on more barbeque than we could afford.. wait.. did we go to the gym at all? She also lived next door to me during undergrad. I woke her up from a nap because there was a wasp in my house. She is a true sh-ero. She used to let me order extra cheese pizza despite her not liking cheese pizza, and that is true self-sacrifice for a friend.

Adam Drexler

Groomsman

The Drexler family has always treated me like family and just like Austin, Adam has and always will be like a brother to me. There has never been a time that I did not think was amazing after a day of hanging out with this best friend. One of my favorite memories with Adam was just this past year. We went hiking and rafting with Martin and Leah. In one week we seemed to have had a lifetime of fun. I can not wait for the next one.

Brittany Wilem

Bridesmaid

Brittany is an inspirational human being. We met in undergrad through our sorority. She loves people well and conquers the business world. She also is an okay fisherwoman (I'm better). Brittany shows up when you need her and she can make anybody laugh. We have secrets that we will carry to the grave and I trust her with my life (and she knows it). I will not share my favorite memory with her but you bet your bottom dollar that she knows which one it is.

Caleb Bentley

Groomsman

Caleb has and always will be one of my best friends for everything. This man has been a level headed safety net in all things of my crazy life. I remember when I first started throwing parties in college and somehow, Caleb kept the chaos under control. One of the best memories we had together were nights of wall ball at Blinn or the chaos of being roommates when I was too much of a party animal for my own good. Through all of our times together, Caleb has always tried to steer our friends and me in the right direction. There is no one I would trust more by my side.

Samantha S. Haynes

Bridesmaid

Samantha is a voice actress for all animals and I am lucky enough to call her my best friend. We lived together through a mutual friend and I learned that I could make her laugh-cry pretty easily. Sam is an honest and genuine friend that knows me for who I am and loves me anyway. I think that my all-time top-cherished memory would be each morning we would drink coffee in bed together and talk about life. Can we go back?

Jason Brelsford

Groomsman

Jason is the smartest friend I have - hands down. There have been too many times to count where Martin or myself proposed an idea that Jason responded with, "that's dumb, don't do that". I genuinely think I would have been in 10 times the trouble if it weren't for him by my side at Blinn. All the times playing wall ball or the long days at the beach, Jason has been one of the closest and most trustworthy friends I have ever had.

Ariel Bonno

Bridesmaid

Ariel is such a bubbly and supportive friend. She is Zachary's sister and I am proud to be able to call her my own sister soon. She is NOT shy and she can warm the temperature of any room with her wit and her supportive nature. One of my most favorite memories was when we were out dancing with a friend who was a bit hesitant to ask others to dance. Ariel was a swift wing woman and lined up dances for this friend for the rest of the night. If one of her friends needs something, she makes it happen without counting the cost.

Kavin Bennett

Groomsman

As one of my closest friends, Kavin has always seemed to be there. We first met while I was throwing the infamous house parties in Hunstville. To this day, one of my favorite memories and things to do is sit on a porch with this man, have a beer, and watch the day go by just talking and hanging out. I will always be interested in a day of just hanging out with this man and cannot wait for him to join me in celebration of Leah and me together.

Briana Bonno

Bridesmaid

Briana is Zachary's sister too and I cannot wait for her to be my own. Briana speaks up for what is right and is in your corner when you need her to be, and for that, I am forever grateful for the future of proving Zac wrong whenever it needs to be done. Briana lived with Zachary and some other abominable men during the year of our engagement and her bathroom was the only one I could trust. If that isn't an example of pure sisterhood, I don't know what is.

Marvin Richie Wingfield

Groomsman

Marvin, or Richie as we all call him, has been with me in parts of my life when I was most confused and did not know where to turn. As a brother in Christ, we both struggled and had long nights together talking about everything under the sun. To see him with a family, just like we talked about when we were kids, is amazing and now, he gets to be a part of my family too. My favorite memories are all of those times we were up to no good until way too late and talking about the future. We are now in that future and I am happy to still know this man as someone honest and true who I hope to never lose as a friend.
