Welcome to our happily ever after!

Pierce and I are high school sweethearts! How crazy is it to be marrying your first ever boyfriend or girlfriend? Music plays a huge role in our relationship and is the reason why we crossed paths in the first place. We met at the old Wellman Club pro shop which was being used as a studio for locals and friends to come and play music. I had just started learning how to play guitar then and heard from a close friend about the bandroom. My friend and I started going and jamming and making new friends there. One day we showed up and that’s when I first met Pierce. Even though we both went to preschool together at Indian Town and played on the same soccer team, we didn’t know each other until then. It was about a month after we first met that we really got the chance to hang out. My friend and I went to watch the Pierce’s band and the other bands play at the Relay for Life in Hemingway one night. We all were playing on the playground by the park and he was swinging when his hat fell off, naturally I stole it and wore it for the rest of the night. Pierce claims I had him so distracted that night that he forgot his guitar on the stage. Thanks to his friend it didn’t get left! My friend and I actually dropped him and his friend off at his house that night. When I got back home we talked all night, probably until almost daylight! Another month passed, it was the BBQ Shag Festival weekend. Of course I had to beg my Dad to let me leave work early so I could go. This was basically our first date…he even put his arm around me in the space shuttle ride! The rest is history! Our story is another win for the highschool sweethearts!🤍
