Bonnie was born and raised in Tualatin, Ore., while Cody grew up in Medford, Ore. Both coming from Beaver families, it was fate they met at Oregon State University. Bonnie slammed a van door on Cody the first day that their paths crossed at a volunteering event, but Cody doesn't remember until the next day, when he introduced himself at a bowl-a-thon fundraiser, wearing a onesie. After graduation, Cody and Bonnie moved to the Portland area, Cody bouncing between Salem and Hillsboro, and Bonnie back in her hometown. After first-jobs-out-of-college, they decided to scratch the travel itch — and geared up for a 2018 "gap year" in which they traveled Europe together for 8 months. From feeding cows in Iceland to making sheep cheese in Austria, they were blessed to have the experience. After coming home and living with Bonnie's parents (thanks Brad and Chris!) while getting jobs again, Bonnie and Cody moved into a little apartment in NW Portland, where they continue to live today. Whether hiking 🏞, kayaking 🛶, getting hooked on a Netflix series📺, spending time with family 👨👩👧👦, or continuing the quest to find Portland's best sour🍻 — they are excited to take on the adventure of marriage. 💍 Here's to the road ahead and the pit stops along the way! (as long as the pit stops have those meat sticks in the plastic bins at gas stations, love those)
