Traditionally, the groom rides in on a horse surrounded by family and friends dancing to live music. This vibrant celebration of love and union is filled with rhythm, color, and blessings, setting the stage for the ceremony.

The ceremony includes blessings, the exchange of rings, and the reading of the ketubah, a marriage contract Bonnie and Akshay will sign before the ceremony. It concludes with the breaking of a glass, a moment that symbolizes both the fragility and beauty of life, and is followed by celebratory shouts of “Mazel tov!”
