It's all happening!

We met in the English L'Abri while both taking some time off from work and school. At the end of our time there, Bonnie-Marie extended her stay in England to visit Jamie in Manchester for three weeks. After a wonderful time, we decided to try dating long distance. After nine months, two overseas visits, two visa applications and one successful student visa we both moved to Pittsburgh, PA to begin school and have been here for the last two years.

On our four year anniversary, Jamie met Bonnie-Marie after church with some of her favorite things: cupcakes from her favorite bakery, pink tulips, and a letter sharing his reflections over the four years of their relationship. Jamie drove Bonnie-Marie to a beautiful park, McConnell Mills, and after a short walk down Hell's Hallow we arrived at the foot of a small falls. Jamie got on one knee and simply asked her to marry him. She said yes!
