Ethan was fresh out of college, looking for jobs when he came across Willmar Electric. He had multiple offers, including in Antarctica. After praying over it, he felt God pulling him to Willmar. His first week of work, he developed a serious staff infection which led to sepsis. A sweet phone call with his mom convinced him it was indeed time to go in. Ethan reluctantly went into the ER during lunch hour on a random Monday. That is where he met the woman he was going to marry. at least that's what he told everyone. He hadn't actually spoke a word to her, he just saw her across the hallway in the ER and knew. Kara had no idea of what was taking place in this patients head. A month later, Kara unknowingly ended up on Ethan's front porch due to family friend connections. She finished up the rest of the summer and beginning of fall working for Ethan's relatives, still very clueless to what went on in Ethan's heart. After five months of praying and addressing the Lord to make sure it was right, Ethan built up the courage to share his feelings with Kara. To Kara's surprise, she responded with also needing to pray about it. Another few months went by, and it became clear what God had brought together. The couple started their journey together, filled with lots of fun adventures. And now the couple ends up right where Ethan was called from the very beginning.
