On a particularly chilly, drizzly, Monday afternoon in Spring, Todd suggested a pre-dinner drink date. Romantic move number one was a success. Romantic move number two... didn’t go as well. The suggestion of popping a bottle of bubbly was nixed by Michelle, since it should be saved for a "special" occasion. Not wanting to spoil the surprise, Todd didn't press his luck. So instead they poured two tall glasses of Kona Big Wave and snuggled up in front of the fireplace. A few minutes in, Todd, wearing a stylish gray button down cardigan encouraged Michelle to search his pocket to retrieve something he claimed she had left there - as she’s done many times in the past. Upon reaching in, her fingers stumbled on something new, and yet very familiar feeling. Eagerly pulling out this unknown treasure she realized it was her long awaited engagement ring! With a smile plastered on her face, Todd slid off the couch onto his knees and began by saying “Michelle Bonilla..." and ended with Michelle saying, "Yes."
