Boned and Trajce’s story began on January 26, 2020. From the very first night they met, there was an instant connection. What started as dancing the night away quickly turned into seeing each other every day. At the time, Boned was in graduate school, and Trajce never missed a chance to spend time with her, bringing along snacks she’d never tried before and sharing late nights filled with Sebastian Maniscalco stand-up and bottles of Orangina. Not long after, the pandemic began. While the world felt uncertain, it gave them the gift of time together. They grew closer, created an unforgettable first summer as a couple, and realized that no matter what was happening around them, they had found something special. Over the years, their adventures have taken them from sunny trips to Cancun, to visiting Trajce’s home country of Macedonia, to their favorite island in Greece, Thassos. Each journey has become another chapter in their love story and a reminder of how much joy they find in exploring the world together. Four years later, on a chilly September night in Pennsylvania, Trajce surprised Boned with the most magical proposal. Surrounded by friends and hundreds of glowing lanterns drifting into the sky, he asked her to spend forever with him. Even in the crowd, it felt like it was just the two of them, a perfect beginning to their next chapter.
