CAMP-of-the-WOODS
For those who may be interested, we are arranging a guided tour of CAMP-of-the-WOODS for Saturday mid-morning. This is the Christian Family Camp and Retreat/Conference Center where Kathryn (Kaleigh) and George serve on full-time staff and the Bone family have been attending for the past 22 summers. Downtown Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs is the perfect spot for a quick outing during the wedding weekend. Stroll down Broadway to explore its charming boutiques, cozy cafés, and inviting local restaurants. Downtown Lake George
Nestled along the southern edge of the lake, Downtown Lake George is a great place to explore between wedding events. Take a leisurely stroll along Canada Street, where you’ll find plenty of local shops, ice cream stands, and casual restaurants with scenic lake views. You can also enjoy a walk along the waterfront or relax in Shepard Park, right in the heart of the village. Whether you’re grabbing coffee, browsing souvenirs, or simply soaking in the mountain and lake scenery, Lake George offers a classic Adirondack charm that’s hard to beat.

If you find yourself in the Speculator area—whether passing through or visiting CAMP-of-the-WOODS—make time for a stop at The Perks of Speculator, affectionately known as “Perks.” It’s the local favorite for coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Whether you’re enjoying a specialty latte or a freshly made sandwich, Perks offers a cozy atmosphere that feels worlds away from the mountains outside.
Hamlet & Ghost
Hamlet & Ghost is an elevated dining experience in the heart of Saratoga Springs. This restaurant has a special place in the hearts of Kaleigh and George, as this is the setting of their first date and start of their relationship. If you are a fan of intricate plates or quality cocktails, this is a must! (Reservations required)
Easy Hike: Bradley's Lookout
A quick, scenic hike near Bolton Landing, this 1.1-mile trail leads to a beautiful overlook of Lake George and the surrounding mountains. It’s an easy walk with a big payoff—perfect for sunrise views or a peaceful afternoon outing.
Moderate Hike: Pinnacle Trail
Just outside Bolton Landing, The Pinnacle is a short, moderate hike (about 2 miles round-trip) that rewards you with sweeping views of Lake George and the Adirondack peaks. It’s a local favorite for its quick climb and incredible panoramic payoff.
Lighthouse Grill
Overlooking the lake in the heart of Lake George, The Lighthouse Grill offers fresh seafood, steaks, and American favorites with unbeatable waterfront views. This is the spot where Kaleigh and George had their first casual meal out after George completed his 3rd half marathon in 2024.
