Where is the ceremony & reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Copper Penny in Pilot Grove, Missouri. The address is 14006 Millsford Drive Pilot Grove, Missouri

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there is gravel parking on the right side of the venue and wheelchair accessible ramps into the venue.

Will there be a cocktail hour after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We will have a happy hour after the ceremony along with a popcorn bar for guests to snack on while the Bride and groom are taking pictures with their families.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar that includes: Bud light, Busch light, Cayman Jacks, and Adult Apple Cider. Please be advised we will not serve any alcohol to any persons under the age of 21. We ask that everyone drink responsibly.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

There are designated smoking areas outside the venue that are available for use. There is no smoking permitted inside the venue or directly in front of the entrances.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is casual/country. So nice button up shirts & jeans, dresses/rompers, etc. We ask that you don’t wear any white, cream, ivory. The ceremony will be outside, (weather permitting) so dress accordingly as it may be a little chilly. Average temperatures for October can range from 40-65 degrees.

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony is “unplugged,” meaning we would like you to be present with us while we exchange our vows. We ask to have your phones and cameras to be put away and to be on silent. We have selected a skilled photographer to capture the moment for us and don’t want to step in her way. After the ceremony is over, feel free to resume taking any pictures you like. We have a wedding hashtag that we would love for you to use if you are posting to Instagram. #ForeverYoung

No Special Announcements

Answer

We ask that you respectively do not make any special announcements during the ceremony or reception. Examples of this would be engagements or pregnancy announcements. This is a day to celebrate the Bride and Groom with their families and we appreciate your understanding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel section of the website. We have provided information and links to local hotels located in Boonville and Columbia, Missouri

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome, but we do ask that you include them in your RSVP and make sure to keep an eye on them during the ceremony and reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be having a buffet style dinner. If you do have any food allergies please reach out to the bride or groom that way we can accommodate as much as possible.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation states you have a plus one, then you may do so. If it does not, we ask that you do not bring one as we may not have enough food and seating for plus ones that we do not account for. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Bride or Groom.
