We will be married on May 8, 2026, surrounded by a small, intimate group of our closest family and friends in Mexico—a day we’ll cherish forever. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone we love back home! Rachel actually liked Jake first on Hinge—but funny enough, Jake was deployed in Afghanistan at the time, and Rachel wasn’t exactly looking to date anyone. After months of texting, she finally thought, “Eh, what do I have to lose?” figuring at the very least she’d get some good food and a good laugh—after all, she already knew Jake was funny. She definitely wasn’t expecting a boyfriend. Jake drove down from New Hampshire to Massachusetts, and their first date was at Mac & Walt’s Burgers. They shared drinks, devoured burgers, and ended up back at Rachel’s, playing Mario Kart and laughing until their faces hurt. From that night on, life has been one big adventure together. They’ve faced health scares and injuries, embraced career changes, adopted a dog and two cats, bought two houses, and explored countless new places and climbed many mountains. Now, they’re looking forward to sharing a last name and continuing to build a life full of laughter, love, and adventure.
