In true Millennial fashion, we originally connected via an online dating app. The app is called "Coffee Meets Bagel". Jordan's note: If you're single and haven't already checked out this app, I highly recommend it. It's definitely different than your Tinder and OKCupid apps of the world. When we matched, we used the Washington Capitals winning the 2018 Stanley Cup championship to break the ice. After a few dates, we became "Official" on July 25. It didn't take long for both of us to realize our relationship was meant to be. Our faith is a huge part of what's brought us together. Jordan is a Methodist, Sarah is Pentecostal, but we were both raised in the shadow of the Southern Baptist Church. We were both looking for someone who took their faith seriously. Despite Sarah being a more charismatic worshiper and Jordan's worship style being more traditional, our love of Christ, our belief in the redeeming power of God, and our firm family roots sewn deep in Christianity are the foundation with which we've built our relationship. And of course in the months we've been together we've shared many a meal at Chick-fil-A. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, no matter our mood or whether we were feeling well or not, the Chester CFA is our go-to. We both know our favorite meals by heart, and standing in line checking our apps to see if we have enough points for a reward or if a reward has been given to us is a regular pastime. Over the course of our relationship, our relationship has gotten stronger. Always in the pursuit of God, we're extremely excited about what the future holds. We hope to build a Godly marriage and establish a family founded on the everlasting hope of Jesus. We hope you can be a part of our special day on Feb. 29. We think it'll be a day that is uniquely us, but symbolic of the love and relationship we have. Thanks for reading, and we look forward to our Leap Day wedding.
