We met virtually first on a dating app. Funny but true! Worth it for sure! Christina noticed that John had sunglasses and hats in most of the photos but wanted to know more. John thought Christina's profile spoke to her faith and also wanted to know more. July 1st, 2023 we decided to meet up at Bar Taco and then get coffee at Starbucks. John kept asking Christina out and Christina kept saying yes. We were able to go to 4th of July fireworks, an art museum, dancing, and of course tons of yummy food and coffee. We used question games to learn more about each other. And the more we learned about each other's lives, faith and personalities the more we liked each other. The like turned into love and mutual respect, which continues to grow each day. We are both introverts and need time alone to recharge, but that isn't the case with each other. Christina has brought avocado toast, olives and tons of questions to John's life. And John has brought a calmness, encouragement and has shown what a man of faith looks like to Christina. We have both seen God's faithfulness throughout it all. We count it all JOY! We agreed we would get engaged sometime this year. John decided Christina's birthday was the day. The day was full of joy hanging out together. We went to a fancy French restaurant. Presents ended with John asking Christina to marry him to which Christina responded "of course... yes." We are so excited to be in the engagement stage of the relationship and are so looking for to getting married in front of God surrounded by our family and closest friends.
