Flight
For guests coming in from out of town - we recommend flying into one of the major NY-area airports (Laguardia, JFK, or Newark) and renting a car or taking the train from Manhattan to the Hudson Valley. Our wedding is over Memorial Day Weekend, so flights will get expensive as the wedding gets closer - please try to book ASAP. If you are coming directly to the wedding from the airport, we recommend renting a car.
Train
If you are coming to the wedding from Manhattan and are not renting a car, you can take the Metro-North train from Grand Central Station. The train takes about 1 hour and 15 mins. Trains typically run only once per hour on weekends, so give yourself plenty of time so that you don't miss your train. The easiest way to look at train times and purchase tickets is to download the MTA TrainTime app. There are also kiosks in Grand Central if you prefer.
Travel Note
To get to the wedding venue from the train: Get off at the Cold Spring stop and take a 6-minute Uber/Lyft to Boscobel (please schedule your car in advance!) To get to the hotels from the train: Get off at the Beacon stop and take a 14-minute Uber/Lyft to your hotel. You will then be able to take our shuttles from the hotel to the venue.
Travel Note
Ubers and Lyfts in the Hudson Valley are sparse and often take a long time to arrive, so please keep that in mind! We HIGHLY recommend scheduling your Ubers/Lyfts in advance, as well as carpooling with others.
Rental Car
The hotels and the wedding venue both offer complimentary self-parking. If you plan on driving directly to the wedding venue, please note that Boscobel does not allow overnight parking.
