Lets start with I, Xiomara Aponte wasn't looking for a relationship but Michael was in search for his wife. So it started off with Michael finding me in our friend, John Michael's mutual list on Instagram. He added me and then added me on snapchat. I was the type who would just add anyone who would add me on social media so I accepted. Fast forward to the day we talked for the first time. I commented on his post on snapchat. It was something about women and virginity etc and if you know me, I'm very passionate about purity. So I gave him my thoughts and that's it, conversation ended. I then again commented on something else he posted on snapchat a few months later, but this time it was about his job, which at the time was remodeling houses. We started talking and getting to know each other and then it went to texting, FaceTime calls, phone calls everyday. It got to the point that no matter what we were doing or who we were with, we'd be on FaceTime all day. We would go to sleep together, eat together, hangout with our friends together, literally everything. It got to the point that I COULD NOT go to sleep without listening to his voice or just knowing he was on the other side of my phone. Fast forward to him coming to "visit me", (I put it in quotations because that's not what really happened) for a weekend in October 2018. We got along so well with each other and loved each other's company. We were so compatible that he ended up just moving in with me that weekend, crazy right? I would've never thought in a million years that I would be that insane to allow a stranger to just move in with me. He could've been a murderer, kidnapper, a psycho, like all those crazy things popped in my head but I felt so safe and protected when he was around. He felt like he needed to lock me down before anyone else tried to make a move on me. So on November 1, 2018 he asked me to be his girlfriend in the cheesiest way. He was so nervous and a goofball all together which made it such a memorable moment for the both of us. Fast forward to moving into our own apartment, because at the time I lived with roommates. We got our first place and it was great, he had a great job, I worked at the bank, he was very clean and helpful with chores in the house when I wasn't home. And if you know me, I'm a clean freak. It was all going great, we got engaged on February 16, 2020, we started planning our wedding for July of 2020 and then planned on moving to Orlando Fl in November of 2020 but that's not what happened. Covid hit and we started to not communicate and just started distancing ourselves from each other. He was on video games once he got back from work almost all night/every night. I would get home from work, shower, eat, pray a lot and go to sleep. It just started feeling like everything was falling apart between us and there wasn't anything we could've done to fix it, so we broke up. He moved back to Orlando with his family and I moved into my parents house. This is where I'll leave it off because you'll be getting the full story on our wedding day. Stay tuned!
