FAQs

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration, so we are only inviting children of the immediate family who will be in the wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you have RSVP'd via our wedding website no later than November 10, 2025.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have two hotel room blocks. One at the Spring Hill Suites Downtown Bradenton and the other at the Hampton Inn Historic Downtown Bradenton. Both hotels are very close to one another in Downtown Bradenton. You can enjoy the Saturday morning market from 9 am - 2 pm when you walk downtown. Call before November 10, 2024 to reserve a room or they drop off.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

For December in Florida, most of the time we're in the 60-70 range, but make sure to check the weather the week leading up, because we do get cold fronts. The wind coming off the water is chilly, so make sure to bring a jacket and pack some layers.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire, which means elegant dresses or suits. The venue is outdoors, so bring a coat for when the sun sets!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We would love for you to take pictures, but please refrain from any photo or video during the ceremony. We have hired wonderful photographers to capture our day, so sit back and enjoy!

Question

What time does the celebration end?

Answer

Send off will be at 9:30 pm for the bride and groom. But have no worries, the fun doesn't end there. We will continue our celebration across the river in downtown Bradenton at the various bars and pubs. Come and have a drink with us!

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from our venue?

Answer

The venue has adequate parking availability across the street. There will be people outside to help you find a spot. If you don't want to bring your car, this area has many rideshare options, including Freebee - a free rideshare option just for Downtown Bradenton and Palmetto. There will also be a shuttle from the hotels in downtown Bradenton to the venue. More information, including times, will come soon!

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:00 pm. Please arrive 15-30 min prior to the start of the ceremony and enjoy the beautiful river views. We will have a violinist and cellist there to serenade you with beautiful music while you wait.

Question

Can you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

Check out our "Things to Do" tab for recommendations. We sadly can't list them all (we'd run out of room), so we've listed our favorite things in Bradenton. You can't go wrong here!
