Like all great love stories, ours took time to unfold. We first connected online in 2019, but life had its own plans for us. We remained friends, walking our individual journeys, growing, and navigating life’s ups and downs separately. Then, in 2022, the universe brought us back together, not just as friends but as two people finally ready for the love we were meant to share. It was as if life had been molding us, preparing us for the moment we could truly begin forever. Our first date was at a local bar, one we still frequent to this day. From the very first moments, it was effortless. It felt like we had known each other forever, as if time had never truly separated us but had simply been waiting for us to meet again, stronger, wiser, and in the right place to embrace what was meant to be. One date turned into another, and before we knew it, our lives were beautifully intertwined. We moved in together, raised two incredible dogs, shared laughter, faced loss, and stood beside each other through everything life brought our way. Through it all, we became each other’s shield, protecting, supporting, and loving one another unconditionally. No challenge ever felt too big, no hardship too overwhelming, because together, we were invincible. Love didn’t rush us, it patiently waited for us to become the people we needed to be, so that when we finally came together, it would be for a lifetime. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we celebrate not just the love we share today but the journey that brought us here, the friendship, the growth, and the unwavering belief that love always finds its way.
