What is the dress code?

Answer

As a guide, "Black-tie optional” meaning that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress. Please know this is just a guide and not a requirement. The only requirement is that our guest come comfortable and ready to celebrate.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, we will have transportation departing the Loews Hotel to the Cathedral before the ceremony as well as from the Cathedral back to the Loews Hotel after the ceremony. The Crystal Tea Room (Reception venue) is approximately a 3 minute walk from the Loews Hotel.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is available at all venues. Cathedral (Ceremony)- Parking is available using the entrance on 17th Street, GPS address 222 North 17th Street. Alternate parking: street parking, Gateway Parking Garage- entrances on Spring & 16th Streets, and Sheraton Hotel Parking Garage, entrance on 16th & 17th Streets. Crystal Tea Room (Reception)- Parking garage is located under The Wanamaker Building. The entrance to the garage is off of Juniper Street, between Penn Square and Chestnut Street. Bear right onto Juniper Street from Penn Square and the garage will be on your left. Valet parking is available at the Loews Hotel.

What is the walking distance between venues?

Answer

It is a 16 minute walk from the Loews Hotel to the Basilica and a 3 minute walk from the Crystal Tea Room to the hotel.
