We're getting married!

In 2020 the world shut down the day before Lauren's birthday then 2 days later we matched with each other on Tinder. Little did either of us know that June we would set up our first date when places started to do outdoor seated. Rich came in to meet Lauren's parents that day and as we were getting ready to leave, Rich was saying bye to Lauren parents and confidently said to them that he would see them again. As we were leaving for our first date Lauren was extremely nervous but Rich opened Lauren's car door to sweep her off her feet. We were on our way to Black River Barn which had a beautiful view right on the water. We had an amazing time together however when Rich dropped Lauren off we did not set up a second date. Now if anyone knows Rich he is the worst at texting mostly because of his work schedule but at this point Lauren was so unsure his insane work schedule and never knew when Lauren would hear him or see him again.

Few short months later we started dating. We took our very first trip together for Laurens birthday trip to The Trout House in Lake George, NY. This was the trip that was the turning point in our relationship. We were sitting on the deck at midnight the flurries started when Rich looked at Lauren and said "Well I guess I will say it first and I have never said this to anyone I love you." From this point on we built our relationship, 2 years later we were talking about moving into together. A few months after talking about it we found a house that we have since made our home.

We took our first trip together to Wisconsin that we were talking about going out there for a while. Why Wisconsin???? Well Rich has family out there. Within the first 2 days of being out there in our 10 day vacation. Lauren met Rich's grandma, Aunt's, uncles and cousins which they were all absolutely amazing. On day 2 we went to Cave Point which had stunning views, which along with us was our pup, Rich's dad, and grandma. It was absolutely a surprise (even though Lauren knew it was happening that vacation), Rich got Lauren at the most perfect moment. It is certainly a day we will remember, Door County always hold a place in Rich's heart and now it will most definitely hold a place in Lauren's heart as well.
