Our RSVP deadline has passed, and we are now finalizing the details for the big day.
The aquarium closes to the public at 5 PM and the ceremony starts at 6 PM — you should be fine if you arrive between 5:30-6.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (with backup accommodations in the sea star building if it rains). The reception is inside of the aquarium.
There is valet parking at the aquarium. For hotel guest staying at the Hyatt Place overnight, there is a parking lot for hotel guest only directly across the street. For those of you who do not wish to use valet parking, there are some Riverhead municipality lots in the area -- but many of them have a time limit.
Cocktail attire. Please keep in mind that since this event is at an aquarium, shoes must be worn at all times. If you anticipate that your shoes might become uncomfortable by the end of the night, please bring a change of shoes with you.
For women, the key to cocktail attire is elegance with a knee-length, tea-length, midi dress, or jumpsuit, avoiding gala gowns, short mini skirts, or anything too revealing. For men, a suit and tie. https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained#toc-cocktail
Absolutely not. While the bride will be wearing navy blue, guests are not expected to avoid that color. 😀

Neither the Bride or Groom will be changing their name after the wedding 🙂
We are registered on Zola -- you can access it right through this website.
All included guests will be clearly indicated on your invitation.
Our reserved hotel block is now full. Please visit our travel section for more information and a link to other discounted accommodations in the area.
We’ve decided to skip the bridal shower and pre-wedding events, and put all our energy into the wedding day itself.
We’re keeping things simple and skipping the bridal party, so everyone can focus on enjoying the day with us. 🙂
Since the hotel is attached to the aquarium, no additional transportation is needed.
