Justin and Hannah met in 2016 when Justin became Hannah’s Branch Manager at Enterprise. A few weeks later, Hannah was promoted, and Justin invited her to hang out with some friends at their soon-to-be favorite spot, Double D’s. That first night they were inseparable. They spent hours after the bar closed, sitting on the rooftop, looking at the stars and talking about life. Hannah’s friends were shocked when she told them she had a crush on a tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed kid from work. On October 27th, 2016, they made it official and both planned to spend their lives together. Hannah moved in with Justin and Andy and the three of them became the best of friends and roommates. In December 2017 the pair bought their house in Ballwin and made the move…bringing Andy with them. This past August they decided to start their family and adopted Murphy. Hannah, Justin and Murphy are the happiest they’ve ever been and can’t wait to be husband and wife!

Justin and Hannah have followed their hearts and haven’t taken the “traditional relationship path,” and their engagement was no different. They knew they wanted to have a fall wedding in 2019, so late one Sunday night in October they started looking at venues to see if anything caught their eye. Hannah and Justin found Little Piney Lodge, immediately fell in love, and sent an email to see if they had any dates available. This place is beautiful, and Hannah thought there was no way they weren’t booked. On Monday morning, Hannah got an email back that they had one date available- November 23, 2019. Hannah’s mom booked a tour ASAP and went to visit (Justin had to work). It was a fairytale- everything they could have wanted and more, so they saved the date. On November 4th, 2018, Justin and Hannah brought Hannah’s mom-Pam, sister-Jayne, future MIL- Mona, and future SIL- Maddie to Little Piney to see their future wedding venue. (they were not engaged but had set a date!) Julie (one of the owners) began their tour in the gorgeous Lodge. Justin and Hannah made their way to the fireplace where he grabbed her hands, got down on one knee and asked Hannah to spend their life together. Hannah was filled with a million different emotions and all she remembers is crying and saying YES! They celebrated with Bollinger champagne, took pictures, and spent a lot of time staring at Hannah’s gorgeous ring. Not many people can say they got engaged at their future wedding venue, which is just another example of their unique relationship. It was perfect, and they are so thankful that their families helped to plan such a special day for the couple!
