This area truly has some of the most beautiful views in Michigan. Stop in Glen Arbor and grab a coffee and a pastry at the Mill! We love the Empire Trail and Pyramid Point! There is also a scenic drive you can do called the Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. If you are feeling extra adventurous you can do the Dune Climb! But just a heads up, if you cant make it back up, it will be a costly helicopter ride to the top...

Traverse City is surrounded by such beautiful fresh water. Rent a boat, try stand up paddle boarding or just grab a sandwich and head to the beach.
Artisian at the Delamar has an amazing patio on the water. Great for some brunch as well! Farm Club is a great spot for lunch! Its a restaurant, brewery, and a market. It has a great patio Red Ginger is a very well known and delicious Sushi spot right Front Street. Mary's Kitchen Port & Chef's Inn both are great spots to grab a sandwich and head to the beach. Little Fleet is a great spot if you want a great cocktail and mix in a few different types of food. They have some great food trucks in their patio! Trattoria Stella is a delicious Italian restaurant in the Village of Grand Traverse Commons and use fresh local ingredients! Dairy Lodge is a great spot for some soft served ice cream! Moomers is a famous homemade ice cream shop with some AMAZING flavors. The Burrow offers a California inspired meal and is right across from the water.
Drive along to some of the nearby towns like Suttons Bay, Leland and Glen Arbor! We love the Mill in Glen Arbor.
