Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, it will be! Rain or shine, the wedding will go on. We’ll have a tent to shelter guests in case of rain.

How should I get there?

Answer

Since the location is in Val-Morin, we recommend driving (carpooling if possible). However, there is a bus from Montreal that goes directly to Val-Morin, from where you can take a short taxi ride to the property. To book tickets: https://www.galland-bus.com/en/home

Can I bring a plus 1?

As we are planning a small and intimate celebration with our closest family and friends, we kindly ask that guests attend as addressed on the invitation. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones. Thank you so much for your understanding, we are truly grateful to share this special day with you.

Only the daughter and nephews of the bride will be in attendance. Therefore, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only event. We will be unable to accommodate additional children. We appreciate your understanding.

What is the dress code?

We’re planning a chic boho-style celebration and encourage guests to dress in a relaxed, stylish way that fits the vibe. Think garden party meets bohemian elegance; flowy fabrics, soft colors, and comfortable shoes. Formal attire isn’t necessary; we want you to feel comfortable and festive!

What shoes should I wear?

As the reception will be held on the lawn, and to help maintain the quality of the property, we kindly ask that you wear stylish yet comfortable shoes and avoid anything that might sink into the grass. High heels and stilettos are a no, but wedges are totally okay!

Will it be open bar?

Answer

The short answer is no. We will be providing a selection of alcoholic beverages in limited quantities for our guests to enjoy. If you’d like to sip on something specific or keep the celebration going, feel free to bring along your beverage of choice in the event of limited stock.

Will there be a DJ and can we make requests?

Answer

We won’t be hiring a DJ, we’ve carefully curated a playlist to match the vibe and aesthetic we envision for the day. We kindly ask that guests not make music requests or adjust the playlist. Your presence is the perfect contribution to the celebration, and we can’t wait to enjoy the atmosphere we’ve created with you!

We want all our guests to enjoy the meal, so please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure there’s something delicious for everyone!
