Nate and Amanda met at COV in Edina for a nice dinner paid for with a gift card, thanks, Nate. One dinner then quickly turned into many midnight talks after adventuresome walks throughout Lebanon Hills. Those types of dates took center as Nate was currently living in a hotel and Amanda was not ready to let him meet her parents. Finally, the time came when Amanda took Nate to meet her parents and to play cards, and wow, did her dad have tons of questions. Nate impressed Amanda's parents with his answers and Euchre skills (major win). Many more game nights occurred...

Nate and Amanda got to spend more time than anticipated together in the Fall which led to such a strong and rapidly growing connection. Fast forward, to a family vacation down in Texas, the night began with a nice dinner followed by ice cream. All the while, Tommy, Amanda's brother, continued to vocalize how he did not want to attend "family photos" and instead wanted to play pickleball back at the vacation condo. Thankfully, Tommy did not get his way. The night ended at the "End of the Road" where there was nothing but miles of beaches and sand dunes. Family photos did occur but they were not the highlight of the evening. Nate and Amanda then took their couple photos which then turned into Nate getting down on one knee. Amanda clearly said yes, that's how they ended up at the alter June 12th. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Pepin!
