It's all in the same area so you can keep an eye out for your children. Tons of activities and even their own coordinator to oversee and for safety. The ceremony will be beach front. The resort will have planned activities for the kids as an option. They also have hire a nanny for any day you are there. Which you hire any day if you want a dinner to yourself or alone time! Contact us for questions/concerns!
YES and no. We welcome everyone to join us a few days after the wedding, for an Asia Adventure. We will post more info on this later.
We suggest 5 days before the wedding so we can Pre-Celebrate with you and enjoy the islands together. :) Because the Philippines is on the opposite time zone, coming a few days before will help you adjust to everything.
Passport is a must! Make sure to plan to get your passport at least 2 months before. No shots and no covid requirements required. :)
Airfare: From DFW to Cebu it’s usually around $1200-$1500 roundtrip! There are deals at times around $700. From LAX to Cebu it’s around $1000-$1200- PAL has $600 promos at times! We have a booking company we’ve partnered with for lower prices and it will be out of any airport of choice. - We’ll add that info once it’s available for booking! Usually around 330 days out! Hotel: For the best deal book on booking.com! We were able to get our room for $800 total for the whole week! Add on breakfast for $200! Food: Philippines is cheapppp. The most expensive part is getting there. I’d like to add a McDonald’s burger solo is .50cents lol so that kind of tells you about food places there! Activities: Our wedding planner is coordinating that and we will have the inclusive price of everything once confirmed with the number of people. This will include island hopping, swimming with whale sharks, ect… Will update this with final number of people!
For the wedding: Since it’s a beach front wedding- Opt for solid, lighter colors (avoiding black, cream, and white) and breathable fabrics. Sandals for comfort! For Pre-Wedding Festivities: • All White Party! Dress to impress! • Bachelor Party- swim trunks, extra clothes for the cigar lounge! Sun screen, beach towel, cash for tips! • Bachelorette Party- swimsuit for the waterfall activity, winery outfit. Beach towel, and cash for tips! Lynette and Alex for Questions :) • Bridal Shower- TBD. Lynette and Alex for questions! Card is accepted in most places but you will definitely want to bring cash to buy food from local vendors and street food!
We are truly grateful for your presence on our special day. In lieu of traditional gifts, if you wish to contribute to our wedding fund/honeymoon we would be deeply appreciative. Your generosity will help us start our married life together. We want to emphasize that your presence is the greatest gift, and any contributions are entirely optional. Thank you for your understanding and support.
We will be doing the traditional Filipino Money Dance. Come with some pesos or dollars to stick on us during the reception!
English is definitely spoken and understood. It’s required in Primary school so majority of Filipinos speak the language.
