Evan and Abby met at the gym they both worked at in Lexington, KY called Proof Fitness. Both new employees in January of 2019, they became friends at work, but surprisingly did not think of each other past friendship! Almost four months went by without even having each other's phone number or hanging out outside of work. But, when it was finally the right timing, they started getting together after shifts at the gym and went skateboarding through the week. Neither of them planning to date, they found themselves texting everyday and wanting to spend more time with each other. Although hesitant because Abby was moving to Louisville for physician assistant school in June of 2019, they kept hanging out and learning about each other. When it came time for Abby to move back home to Louisville for school, Evan asked if they could see each other one more time. Evan explained that he really wanted to come over to tell her that he was in love with her, and that he couldn't let her go back without getting that off of his chest (true story!). Abby started school, Evan made his first visit to Louisville to see her, and they started dating on July 13th, 2019! They visited back and forth between Louisville and Lexington for two years. Since then, Abby graduated PA school, Evan graduated from the University of Kentucky, they have moved in together in Louisville, gotten their dog Elvis, and started their life as couple. Up next, they will say their vows and dance the night away on New Year's Eve!
