Andrew and Hannah first met in the summer of 2021 at a tennis camp, where Andrew spent most of his time stealing glances from across the courts, usually while twirling his racquet. Every time their eyes met, Andrew got shy and promptly dropped his racquet. A strong first impression… A few months later, they exchanged numbers, but it wasn’t until the beginning of the next year that they began talking. What followed was daily texts, nightly phone calls, and ending each day by sharing stories, laughs, and everything in between. Hannah knew Andrew was “the one” during a moment when she was feeling especially overwhelmed. Without hesitation, Andrew asked if he could pray for her, something no one had ever done before. After a night of talking and praying together, their journey towards each other began. The next three years were spent long-distance while Andrew attended college in Tennessee, strengthening their relationship through commitment, faith, and countless miles. After graduating and returning home, Andrew and Hannah spent the rest of the year balancing Nutcracker rehearsals and their personal lives. Meanwhile, behind the scenes Andrew was preparing to propose to Hannah during their last Nutcracker performance together as Prince and Clara. Now officially engaged and entering their fourth year together, they are excited to begin this next chapter side by side.
