( told by Madison) It was our first full day in mexico & we were chilling by the ocean after just exploring around the resort. Im not gonna lie i was laying there just hoping dalton was planning on proposing. I was takimg a mini nap while everyone else was playing in the water, and when they all came back they decided to go do “family” photos on the pier. As were walking out there i see at least 3 large lizards. Im terrified of lizards so im freaking out the whole walk down. Im not joking they were HUGE! as we aproached the end dalton suggested we take photos first & we started snapping away. At this point you would think i have an idea to what is happening (i had no clue) all i could focus on was my entire family was staring at us taking photos, while my stepmom Kate kept saying the words “cheese” literally over & over. I finally jokingly said “cheese” right back which of course made my dad Mike laugh. At that point i was so uncomfortable with whatever was happening so i started to walk away. As i walked away dalton was beginning to get on one knee & grabbed my arm. Not sure what the heck was going through my mind but i actually thought he was messing with me & somehow had a lizard. Lol. As i turned back around i yelled dont touch me, to see him on one knee. After that i just cried like a baby & forgot to answer him. But Of course my answer was YES!
