We met at the Staples Center in LA while working... Genesis' Version: "I'm walking to my work area to set up and begin my shift. I take a seat, mind my business while browsing on my ipad. I feel a person near me and with elevator eyes starting from the waist up, I see a gorgeous man in a suit extend his hand for a shake as he said, 'Hi, I'm Bogdan.' From there on, we clicked! We laughed, danced, searched our names on Google, shared orange juice, spoke only in our native languages (Spanish & Romanian), and it felt like our first date! Before my shift ended, he took my phone and added his number. I reached out the following day :) The crazy thing is... I knew and declared he was my husband that day. It was an internal feeling. The confirmation? It was also my mom's birthday." ____________________ Bogdan's Version: "Prior to meeting Genesis I was experiencing the most excruciating pain. I needed a root canal and my medication was not helping. I remember walking towards my booth to work and I saw Genesis smile at me. She doesn't remember smiling at me but I do. It was the most beautiful smile that I have ever seen. I took it as a sign to go up to her and introduce myself. Right away I was infatuated by her being and presence. We laughed, we danced, we shared ... She shared her homemade OJ with me. I shared my over-the-counter tooth numbing cream which she bravely accepted. We laughed some more and even googled ourselves. It literally felt like our first date and to top it all off I forgot all about my pain. The next day I went to work and I told my really good friend that I met the one! A few hours later I received a text message from Genesis and I was dancing around the office with joy bragging to my friends. At the time I was working two jobs and I had no idea how I would be able to handle a relationship. However, everything was effortless as if all the pieces aligned and gracefully fell into place. The universe matched us with perfection."

You've likely asked us or at least one of us when are we getting married?!?!?! (Bet you thought of it) Over the years, the universe has given us many obvious hints about MARRIAGE: - on Pandora music commercials - people referring to us as husband and wife - ad placements on social media - people asking us when will get married - strong emotional milestones & conversations Well, if you know anything about Genesis' dad is that he is a man who lives a NO BS lifestyle and is very direct. Truthfully, he has been poking at the subject and asking if and when will we tie the knot? Like everyone else! On July 15th, 2020: we're chatting and eating dinner with her immediate family and says, "I have a very serious question to ask, okay?" He looks at her brother, then to his wife, then Genesis, and locks eyes with Bogdan in order to proceed with, "So when are you two getting married? Like seriously, when are you two getting married?" It was a totally unexpected question and a bit awkward for Genesis. Honestly, we've had deep conversations about marriage and children. Nothing new to us.
