Getting Here

We recommend flying into London Heathrow (LHR) and spending one or two nights in London before heading to Suffolk. It’s a great chance to explore London and shake off the jet lag. GETTING HERE BY TRAIN The closest train station to Yoxford is Darsham. From London: 1. London Liverpool Street → Ipswich Take a Greater Anglia train from Liverpool Street Station to Ipswich. 2. Ipswich → Darsham Change at Ipswich for the train to Darsham. 3. Taxi from Darsham to Your Accommodation Darsham is a small countryside station, so taxis should be booked in advance. Coming directly from Heathrow? Take the Elizabeth line from Heathrow to Liverpool Street, then follow the train route above. GETTING HERE BY CAR If you’re comfortable driving on the other side of the road, we highly recommend renting a car. Suffolk is very rural, with villages, seaside towns, pubs, and beaches spread out across the countryside. Having a car will make exploring much easier. Cars can be rented at Heathrow. Don’t worry about driving to the wedding events, we’ll provide transportation to and from all wedding festivities.
