FAQs

If you have any other questions not listed here, please reach out to the Matron of Honor, Zandra Trudeau at 860-377-2472.
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! You'll see appearances from our (by the wedding day) 1.5 year old niece and nephew, Leighton and Ben, but we ask that you please find a sitter for your children for the occasion.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is "unplugged"! We ask that you please put away your cell phones, iPads, etc, enjoy the moment and don't take any pictures during the ceremony. We understand you all want to capture our big day, but there will be plenty of opportunities to snap pictures after the ceremony. Plus, we'll be happy to share the pictures taken by our wonderful photographers after the wedding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, but (ladies especially!) keep in mind the ceremony will be outside and we all know what grass + heels equals, so please plan accordingly.

Question

What about food? Why isn't there an option to choose food on my RSVP?

Answer

Don't you worry about food! There will be hors d'oeuvre during the cocktail hour and then a wonderful food truck will take care of dinner. GF and vegetarian options are available.

Question

Do I need cash for the bar?

Answer

Well, we don't have a traditional bar, but there will be plenty of beer, wine and hard cider on us! You'd only need cash for tips.
