We're getting married

Hunter and Emmalea's love story is like no other. Early in our relationship, we knew we'd have a life filled with adventure, laughter, and excitement as long as we're together. We've been together now for eight years and we've covered miles around the world. Together we've traveled to 11 countries and during our most recent trip to Europe, that's when Hunter decided it was time to propose. We started our European adventure in Iceland, a place our souls can't live without, as we've been there three times now. We had just gotten off the plane, into our rental car and headed to the Blue Lagoon (like always) to unwind from the 6hr flight. After the Blue Lagoon, Hunter insisted we'd go to Skogafoss (our favorite waterfall in Iceland). We were very tired from our travels, but made it to the waterfall. We both geared up for the weather in our rain jackets and sweatpants, and started the hike up the stairs to the top of the waterfall. I was very tired and absolutely wasn't wanting to do the hike up the stairs, but Hunter insisted we go and it would be a beautiful view. Eventually after all my complaining on the stairs we made it to the top of the waterfall and the view was amazing as always. We walked around and took some pictures and when we were alone on the side of the waterfall, that's when Hunter decided it was time to pop the question. He absolutely caught me off guard and I was thrilled that it was finally time he'd ask me to be his wife. He could not have asked me in a more “us” way, and for that I know we're truly meant to be each other’s life partners. We spent the rest of the trip newly engaged and made the most of our European adventure. We did a lot of sight seeing in every country we went to, and even got to kiss under the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. Our love story is my favorite, and I am so excited to share this next chapter with all of our loved ones.
