It’s happening!

We started dating our sophomore year of high school but we never could have imagined that we would end up marrying each other nearly a decade later. Through high school, college, living together in apartments in sketchy areas, and finally us deciding to build a house, we have grown up together. We've been there together for all of the highs and lows of our lives and we cannot wait to continue to build on the life we have already started with each other.

In true Matt fashion, he had no idea he was going to propose to me when he woke up that morning. But right before we decided to leave to go to dinner, on a random Wednesday afternoon, he grabbed the ring box from his nightstand and decided that day was the perfect day to do so. He took me for a walk along the Olentangy River on a shaded trail. At one point, I noticed he was no longer walking next to me. I turned around and there he was on one knee. We're still not 100% sure that I actually said yes after he asked me. We just know that he put the ring on my finger, kissed me, and called me his fiance! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! We will see you all soon!
