It started back in 2015 when Nick saw Emily from across the room at a co-worker party. Nick worked up the courage to walk across the room and introduce himself. The rest was history! Nick and Emily laughed and shared stories about themselves into the wee hours for the rest of the evening. (Not to forget the few drinks that were involved too!) That evening Nick and Emily ended up both falling asleep on the couch together as they continued to get to know each other. However, Nick was the perfect gentleman and slept on top of a blanket that him and Emily had been sharing. Nick did try to lean in and kiss Emily, but she got nervous and turned her head. Nick still likes to dig at Emily to this day, stating that she rejected him when they met. Nick and Emily’s summer romance continued with countless hangouts and formal dates. It wasn’t long before they knew they wanted to be together.
