Bodie and Elle met in 9/10th grade Spanish class at Jackson Prep. Bodie used to have a secret crush on Elle and instead of telling her, he would sent her anonymous messages telling her she was cute. Little did Elle know it was Bodie who was behind those messages. After Bodie transferred schools, the two lost touch. 5 years later, Bodie reached back out to Elle and the two went on a date at Nagoya in Madison, MS. 3 weeks later on July 12, 2022, Bodie asked Elle to be his girlfriend. Bodie and Elle made long distance work through Bodie's freshman year at Coahoma Community College for baseball and Elle's sophomore year at the University of Alabama. One year of long distance was enough for them as they both transferred to Mississippi State University and East Mississippi Community College. After Elle graduated college, Bodie surprised her with a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama, where he finally popped the question! 3 1/2 years together and a lifetime of memories to come!
