Things To Do

Hiking in Pisgah National Forest

If you have a car, here are some of our favorite hikes within an hour of Asheville: - Mount Pisgah (1-2 hours round trip, where we got engaged!) - Graveyard Fields (2-3 hours round trip, great waterfall at the end) - Sliding Rock (bring your swimsuit, and be warned, it is cold!!) - Looking Glass Falls (picturesque roadside waterfall, close to Sliding Rock)

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

100 Sierra Nevada Way, Fletcher, NC 28732

Matt's favorite spot to get a beer post-hike!

Biscuit Head

The Arboretum is open 8am - 9pm daily and has great peaceful hiking/walking trails close to Asheville. Admission is free, however parking is $20 per vehicle.

Double D's Coffee & Desserts

Super cute double decker bus that sells coffee and desserts! Definitely fun to swing by if you are staying in Asheville proper.

Grove Arcade

The Grove Arcade is a historic building - Asheville's first mall - located downtown. It houses local shops as well as a variety of dining experiences. The Battery Park Champagne Bar is a favorite!
