Currency: Mexico uses the Mexican Peso (MXN). Credit cards are widely accepted throughout Mexico City, but we recommend carrying some cash for taxis, tips, markets, and smaller vendors. ATMs are readily available at the airport and throughout the city and typically offer the best exchange rates.
