What is the dress code? Are there colors to avoid?

Cocktail-formal attire, please! We can't predict Pennsylvania weather, but plan to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors.

Is transportation provided?

Yes! Shuttle service will be provided from the Slopeside Hotel to the Meadowoods ceremony location as well as to the cocktail hour/reception at Winterberry.

Am I permitted a plus one?

Unless otherwise specified, only those named on your invitation are invited to attend. If you're unsure, please ask us!

Will there be an open bar?

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

First of all, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, a wedding card box will be available at the reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 330 pm, so please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early. Shuttle schedule times will be provided.

What time does the reception end? Is there an after party?

Answer

The reception will end around 11 pm. Afterward, join us at the Foggy Goggle Bar (on the resort) to keep the party going!

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Nope! Immediately after the ceremony, the cocktail hour will begin at Winterberry.

Am I allowed to take photos?

Answer

Yes, of course! However, during the ceremony, we ask that our guests please refrain from taking photos. Afterward, snap away and please share with us!

What if I have food allergies/restrictions?

Let us know as part of your RSVP and the catering staff will accommodate you!

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, but fortunately they are very close to one another. The Slopeside Hotel is attached to Winterberry (reception location). The ceremony location, Meadowoods, is a short distance from Winterberry. You may walk, but it is uphill, so shuttle service is preferred and provided.

Will you be showing the Penn State vs Ohio State game?

Will my steak be cooked to perfection?

Answer

After discussion with our caterer, for the safety of all guests, all steaks will be prepared to a medium temperature. We apologize for any inconvenience.
