Celebrate with us!

We found each other quite unexpectedly. We had planned to go for a casual coffee date at Bluebeard's Coffee in Tacoma, Washington. It was there we both knew this might be something special. We spent the rest of the day exploring Point Ruston and Owen Beach, ending with dinner and a whiskey at Tides Tavern, on the water in Gig Harbor, Washington. Eventually, the pandemic brought us closer together - sooner than we had expected. Fortunately for us, it was the beginning of something great. We have become best friends in our journey through life. We moved to a new city together, explored Iceland and Europe together, and bought a home. We can't imagine life without each other in it, and we look forward to what the stars bring us.

The proposal took place while we were in Copenhagen, Denmark. As we were on our first international jaunt together, the timing was perfect. Steve did the asking in our swanky hotel room, while sharing a nightcap and watching something in Danish that neither of us understood. Bobby mentioned he wanted his next vacation to be in Paris, France. Steve asked "You mean, like a honeymoon?" The rest is history. Incidentally, Paris is the first stop on our honeymoon.
