We are so grateful that you all are traveling to be with us for our wedding, but we understand this is still a difficult time with the ongoing pandemic. Please note that all events will be outdoors (or have outdoor space). If we are outdoors (fingers crossed!), masks are not required by Basin Harbor. If we are indoors due to weather, Basin Harbor requires unvaccinated guests to wear masks. We will have some on hand if we are indoors. We encourage anyone that feels more comfortable to wear a mask or practice social distancing as needed. Thank you for all of your support during this time.
There are many activities available at Basin Harbor and in the surrounding area. We recommend getting in a round of golf Saturday morning, spending some time at the waterfront, taking the EScape boat tour (stop by the front desk or call concierge to reserve a spot!), or grabbing a drink from the main lodge (in the sitting room outside Ardelia's) to enjoy in an Adirondack chair on the Lodge Lawn!
The suggested attire for Saturday's events is black tie optional. The wedding party will be in tuxes and long dresses. Almost all of the weekend events will be outdoors (weather permitting), so please choose grass-friendly footwear!
Basin Harbor has ~70 cottages and ~40 inn rooms across four lodge buildings. Each cottage is unique, some designed by individual families coming up to Basin Harbor for the summer. The Reservations team is happy to help determine the best room or cottage for you and your family/friends based on your preferences. While we love your children, the wedding day events will be adults only. Feel free to bring your children to the welcome reception on Friday night and brunch on Sunday! For childcare assistance during Saturday's events, Basin Harbor has a number of pre-qualified babysitters with whom concierge services can connect you.
