Our Story
Bobby and Mary Kate met on New Years Eve 2023. Well, technically they met briefly at a tailgate a few months prior. Neither thought much of it, but their friend Brent said that, "sparks were flying."
On New Years Eve they were reintroduced and the two talked the entire evening. At the end of the night Bobby asked Mary Kate for her number, and they went on their first date shortly after.
At the time, Mary Kate was living in South Bend, and Bobby in Chicago. Although they were both hesitant to start something while living in different cities, they couldn’t deny their special connection.
Bobby asked Mary Kate to be his girlfriend that February, and the next year and a half consisted of many laughs, dates, and weekend visits. Mary Kate moved to Chicago in June of 2025.
That October, Bobby asked Mary Kate to marry him at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the same spot he took her for their third date. They are excited to continue their love story together!
