We're Getting Married!

While Bobby and Karina did go to High School together, they are by no means the ‘love at first sight' kind of couple. They were classmates senior year but it wasn’t until a mutual friend properly introduced them during Senior Year Grad Night at Disneyland. They were sitting in the tram on their way home when they exchanged numbers. Bobby’s phone was dead so he said to her “here’s my number” as Karina punched it into her cool Samsung flip phone and responded with a text “so call me maybe?” (a reference to Carly Rae Jepsen’s song which was popular that year). After that night, they would text “call me maybe” every time they wanted to talk on the phone. They can spend hours talking to each other and have become inseparable since then. August 13th, 2022 marks their 10th year anniversary of dating. Amid the COVID pandemic, Bobby was able to plan an unforgettable proposal. He planned a lovely weekend getaway in Newport Beach with a slight detour to Laguna Beach where he popped the question on September 18th, 2020. The moment was beautifully captured by a professional photographer and the happy couple continued to celebrate their engagement spending the weekend in Newport Beach and Catalina Island - a perfect proposal!
