Bobby and Hannah met each other for the first time in Mexico... They were there for the Naranjo-Malloy wedding in June 2015. Hannah told her best friend that she liked Bobby's smile and Jenny told him that Hannah said she liked him and from there the rest is history. Bobby and Hannah got to know each other better and had their first date in Disneyland.

Bobby and Hannah had taken a trip to San Francisco in 2019 when Hannah started dropping hints to Bobby about getting engaged and married. She figured they would start talking about timing and budgets and rings, but whenever Hannah brought it up, Bobby kept saying...I'm not ready yet, just a few more months so we can be financially prepared. Little did Hannah know Bobby was already in the works of planning the proposal. In June, they planned a trip to Monterey Bay. Hannah thought that was the perfect place to propose, but she honestly did not think it was going to happen yet because Bobby hadn't given any hints that this mini-vacation would be any different than the other vacations they'd taken. Friday, June 21 2019, they went to Lover's Park in Monterey and found a bench that looked out over the ocean at sunset. Hannah noticed Bobby was very nervous and thought...maybe this is it, but no, it couldn't be because we hadn't talked about any types of details. And yet, Bobby got down on one knee, pulled out a ring, told Hannah that she makes him a better person, and asked if she would marry him? Hannah was shocked and delighted and of course, said YES!
