What time does the wedding start?

Answer

Wedding starts at 5pm, ceremony should last until 5:30! Cocktail hour to follow.

Dress Code

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Men may wear a suit and tie or tuxedo. Women may wear a long gown, cocktail dresses, or dressy outfits! Please avoid overly casual attire such as jeans, sneakers, or t-shirts.

Parking?

Answer

Lessee and its guests will be permitted use of all the parking lots at the Mellwood Art Center on the day of the event. These parking lots include the lot on the corner of Mellwood and Delmont and all of the parking across Mellwood Ave from Delmont to Thompson Ave.

What food will be provided?

Answer

Lite bites for cocktail hour, pizza for dinner and cupcakes for dessert!

Open bar or cash bar?

Answer

An open bar will be provided along with water and a variety of diet and regular sodas.

Can I take pictures around the facility on my event day?

Answer

YES! All common areas are available. Please do not enter other venues where events are being held, and/or use their outdoor space for pictures. Those areas belong to the events using those venues and are private.

Question

Can I pick up my stuff the day after my event? This includes decor, rented items from other vendors, props, lighting, chairs, ETC.

Answer

No, all things brought in for the event will have to be removed prior to midnight (12:00 AM). Mellwood Art Center is not responsible for any items left behind after rental is over.
