In 2010 we met through mutual friends in Manhattan Beach. Over the next two years we would run into each other around town, at his dinner parties, or with close friends at his restaurant. I always thought he was so handsome and sweet, but it wasn't until 2012 on Cinco De Mayo when he finally asked me out! For our first date we went to a wine dinner followed by a sunset cocktail and jazz band at Terranea Resort. We quickly realized after that date that this relationship could turn into something special.

Bobby proposed at one of our favorite restaurants, Redbird. I couldn't believe my eyes when we walked into the restaurant and were escorted up to the private terrace overlooking Downtown Los Angeles’ historic Catholic Church 'Vibiana'. Bobby had our menus customized with my name and date, and our table was decorated beautifully for an incredible meal we would never forget. When the dessert came, he had candles placed on it for my upcoming birthday. He told me to close my eyes and make a wish, once I opened them he was kneeling in front of me with the most beautiful ring I’d ever seen.
