What should I expect if I'm flying?

Answer

This area is closest to Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ. About a 20-25 minute Uber if you avoid peak traffic times. LaGuardia and JFK Airports are also very convenient. If you're staying near the reception location, you can anticipate about 40-45 minutes from both NY airports (again, try to avoid peak traffic times if possible). You can easily get an Uber/Lyft from all 3 airports, or there is a taxi line, an airport bus that drops you off at Grand Central Station, or you can take the subway (I don't recommend navigating this if it's your first time).

How do I get around?

Answer

Walking, Uber, Taxi, Subway...whatever your heart desires! If you decide to stay in a hotel near the reception, the A/C line runs from downtown to the Upper West Side, where the church ceremony will be. Plan to jump in a cab or Uber between church and reception as both are very close to the West Side Highway and it shouldn't be more than a 15 - 20 minute ride.
