Things To Do

Woodinville Wine Country

13590 Northeast Village Square Drive, Woodinville, WA 98072

Hundreds(!) of wineries and tasting rooms (some of the nation's best) are just a few minutes up the road in Woodinville. Most places accept tasting reservations online, which we'd recommend for groups. Some of our favorites include: - Matthews - Chateau Ste Michelle - Chateau Lill - Delille - Bookwalter - Jaine - JM - Efeste If you're after food, then check out: - Pablo y Pablo - Cut Shop - Hollywood Tavern - Willows Lodge: Barking Frog or the Fireside Lounge (this is where we got engaged!) - Lifted Taco - Walla Walla Steak Co

Pike Place Market

Seattle, WA

For those who have never been to Seattle before, you may as well check out the fish-throwing and fresh flowers at Pikes Place. It does get crowded and a bit toursisty, but the dried strawberries, fresh ceviche, piroshky, and iconic picture of you in front of the gum wall could be a fun afternoon.

Seattle Beach Parks

Seattle has some of the most gorgeous parks right on Lake Washington and the Puget Sound. Take a bottle of wine and a picnic out to one of the beautiful parks listed on this website and it'll likely be the 2nd best part of your trip to the PNW.

Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie, WA 98024

Grab a drink at Salish Lodge right above a fairly impressive waterfall.

Taylor Shellfish Farms

2182 Chuckanut Drive, Bow, WA 98232

If you're a raw oyster fan, and feel up for a little roadtrip. GO HERE. It's up there on Anne's top favorite dining experiences in the world. It's casual, salty, bald-eagle friendly, RIGHT on the water, best oysters you'll ever have. Completely worth the drive.

Our favorite restaurants

Here are some of our favorite restaurants in the area: - Deru in Kirkland - 520 Bar and Grill in Bellevue (our first date spot!) - Barking Frog at Willows Lodge (the hotel we got engaged at in wine country!) - Hollywood Tavern in Woodinville (get the burger special. thank us later) - The Beachhouse in Kirkland - The Repp in Snohomish (this is the sweet little town we live in-- totally worth a wander around.) - Pace Kitchen in Snohomish (best pasta in the area) - Din Tai Fung (any location. unreal dumplings)

Ferry to an island for the day

The ferry is a beautiful way to see Seattle, Mt Ranier, and the rest of those iconic Washington Mountain ranges from the water. It's particularly easy to do Bainbridge for a day!

Downtown Kirkland

Kirkland is a favorite spot for walking along the water, grabbing a bite to eat, drool over the gorgeous craftsman homes, and wandering around cute boutique shops. Fun fact: this is where Anne first lived when she moved to Washington in 2011.

Downtown Redmond

Home to some big tech company, Redmond is a great spot to walk around, grab a bite to eat, and take in the fresh PNW air. Redmond Town Center has all you need and plenty of late night dive bars and food options close to the hotel where most will be staying. Click the map below to check out some of the best spots! For late night fun: - Palmers East (Karaoke) - Redmond Bar & Grill - Flatstick Pub Top Eats: - Sparks Pizza - Farine - Matador - Matts Oyster Bar - J Michaels
