The Wedding - Ceremony
12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
Attire: Semi-formal - wear what makes you feel classy yet comfortable (and WARM/DRY!) Wedding colors are forest/moss green and lavender. We encourage, but not require you to join in the fun and share our colors!
** CEREMONY NOTES ** * Plan to arrive at least 30 mins before the wedding as parking can be difficult. Please ensure you are at the Observation Deck no later than 11:45am. * No assigned seating -- pick a seat, not a side! Parking Instructions: * For those without mobility concerns, please use the main parking lot by the Visitor's Center or along the main road (paid parking using Parking Kitty app or pay station). Take the Redwood Trail from the main entrance to the Observation Deck (approx. 1/2 mile walk). * For those with mobility concerns, a gravel road with parking close to the Redwood Deck is available. Check back here day-of for details. Weather Accommodations: * As of 10/11, forecasting light rain with a high of ~60 degrees. * Clear ponchos and hand-warmers will be provided for each guest. * Redwood Deck is not covered, but under an evergreen canopy. * If bringing an umbrella, please either use a clear umbrella or sit in the back row as to not block guests' views.
The Wedding - Reception

** RECEPTION SCHEDULE & NOTES ** Please note this portion of the event is alcohol, tobacco, and drug-free! :) Per Portland Parks and Rec, no heaters allowed, so please depart to after-party when needed! Food & Drink: * Buffet-style pizza and salad (Love Verona) - Vegetarian and gluten-free options available * Hot apple cider and bubbly Martinelli's * Variety of local pastries (Dos Hermanos Bakery) * Gluten-free red velvet cake (Gem Bakery) * Water Schedule: * 12:30pm: If not rainy, group photos taken at or near Redwood Deck - If wet, seasoned guests sent immediately to Stevens Pavilion for pizza to warm up - If pouring, everyone sent to the Pavilion * 12:45-1:15pm: Pizza arrives, lunch time for guests * 1:15-:1:30pm: First Dance! * 1:30-1:45pm: Cut the cake * 1:45-2pm: Speeches * 2:15pm: Group photos if rained out * 3-4pm: Mingling and lowkey dancing, if not too cold and wet - Otherwise, we will send guests to warmer, drier pastures as soon as speeches and photos are finished!

** POST-WEDDING-BE-INSIDE-AND-DRY PARTY ** Given the likelihood of rain and cold weather, we invite all guests following the ceremony/reception to join us for drinks, more food, and/or laughs in scenic downtown St. John's in North Portland off N Lombard Street -- Bobbx and Liz's beloved neighborhood a short 20-minute drive away! Home to many kinds of "watering holes" within (3) blocks of each other, we invite you to one or more of the locations below where Bobbx and Liz will "bar hop" to meet all individuals at their location(s) of choice to keep the party going! * Awesome Beer Bar (8600 N Ivanhoe St) - Small spot in Liz and Bobbx's building! * 45th Parallel Wines (8527 N Lombard St) - Classy and cheese-y! * The Fixin' To (8218 N Lombard St) - Happenin' barcade and venue! * Sticky Wicket (8401 N Ivanhoe St) - Cricket-themed sports bar, for some reason Meals Also Available At: * StormBreaker Brewing (8409 N Lombard St) * McMenamins St. Johns Theater & Pub (8203 N Ivanhoe St)
