The Wedding Website of BobbieJo Richmond and Hesakia Atkinson
Meet our family and friends walking down the isle with us. We couldn't imagine our special day without them!

Destiny Routh

Maid of Honor

When our parents introduced us before their wedding I wasn't quite sure about this "new" sister but once we realized our mutual love of Barbie, the connection was there. Soon after Destiny and I used to tell people we were twins and we wished we were! Growing up together solidified that bond and no matter how far away or how long it's been since we've spoken we never miss a beat from where we last left off.

Melissa Richmond

Bridesmaid

Sweet Lissa! She is my angel and there is no way I would do this without her by my side! Melissa is such a special person in so many ways. Her selfless and caring personality go beyond the normal definition of those words. She truly touches every life she encounters from the check-out clerk at the store to the many friends and family she keeps updated on all the latest news and new babies being born! We cherish her.

Amanda Walker

Bridesmaid

Growing up I didn't have many female cousins that lived close by, so when my Aunt Mimi and cousin Amanda moved back to South Dakota needless to say I was pretty excited. We may have been a little reserved at first but we sure hit it off! We spent countless hours driving around jamming Bob Dylan while we searched for the best yard sales so Amanda could bargain the high price of ten cents down to a nickel. She has taught me so much over the years and her strength is inspiring.

Kristie Keelin

Bridesmaid

We became friends immediately after meeting and have been very close ever since. She is one fiercely loyal friend that would do anything for her friends and family, including telling them when they are in the wrong or headed down a bad path. I have always appreciated her candor and fiery spirit and have thoroughly enjoyed witnessing her in action! Who would have thought two strong-headed, sassy girls would get along so well!

Chris Simpson

Bridesman

Chris and I became close friends working together at Boston's. We have shared many adventures throughout the years including traveling to Canada and back, (which he drove 17 hours straight after a softball tournament) , white water rafting through Colorado and driving his sweet Mustang convertible home to South Dakota from Vegas in December, YIKES! He taught me all about the game of football and decided if I was going to learn the game, I better be a Broncos fan like him. He is an amazing person and I am blessed to have him by side on this special day.

Tyler Shaw

Bridesman

Tyler is one of those friends that no matter how long it's been since we have talked, we pick right up where we left off and run with it. I have been friends with Tyler since we were young kids in our early twenties and have enjoyed many milestones together from 21st birthday bashes, parenthood, and deep losses of close friends to becoming professionals, relocating to run family businesses and now getting married. We are so much wiser and dare I say calmer now, but still as fun as ever!

Sean Roll

Bridesman

I have never met a more charismatic goofball than Sean Roll! He has a way of making everyone in the room have a good time while truly being comfortable enough to be themselves. He has endured many hardships someone so young shouldn't have to yet remains optimistic and uplifting to all he encounters. He also traveled to Canada with Chris and I and worked with us at Bostons for years. Even though he is Chargers fan, I still love this guy!

Libbertie Richmond

Jr. Bridesmaid

So many thoughts and emotions are evoked while thinking of Libbertie. She has taught me so much by making me a mother. From her spunky nature as little girl entertaining the entire family with her wildly descriptive and hilarious stories, to her hard work and dedication to her education and future, she continues to amaze me. I am beyond proud of her and can't wait to see where she goes in this world. The true definition of love is that shared between a mother and her child!

Bianca Stabile

Jr. Bridesmaid

I met Bianca when she was just a tiny little six year old, shy and quiet clinging to her blanket as she sucked her thumb. She has grown into a smart funny and beautiful young woman and I am grateful she came into my life. Coming from a large family with multiple parents myself, I understand the importance of a step-parent's role in a child's life and am honored to be that for her. She is our goof ball for sure and we love her for that!

Joe Wallner

Best Man

Joe Wallner : Joe has a been a lifelong friend to me... from raising hell on the South side to raising our own families, he’s a man who I respect and love like a brother. We’ve seen the ups & downs of each other’s lives and no matter what ,he has always been someone I could call, share a laugh with, and put a little perspective on life, love, stress, and setbacks. Just like any one of my groomsmen I’d lay my life on the line for Joe and I’m honored to have him as my best man.

Mitch Zephier

Groomsman

Mitchell Zephier : In the late 90’s I was what the 39 year old me would call a little punk, I watched a lot of rap videos and only cared about a few things: release dates, concert dates & when the next party @ MITCHELL’s was going down! When I met Mitchell I knew I wanted to be his friend, he’s just a cool guy & he’s still the coolest guy I know, ...despite being a Broncos fan. CHIEFS BABY ! I’m proud to call Mitch my friend but even more than that he is my “Kola”. No one has influenced me more as far as music and art. He & Kristie have had me over for more dinners & BBQ's than I can count and it is very special to me that they will be part of this wedding, if Kristie wasn’t one of Bobbie Jo’s bridesmaids I’d have her up there as one of my groomsmen.

Gavin Walla

Groomsman

Gavin Walla :Gavin is my oldest son, an amazing person who I am so proud of. He has grown up to be a man of great character with a huge heart, intelligence and a great smile. When I see him I feel like I’m looking at a clone, but that’s just complimenting myself because Gavin is unique, amazing and everything a father could want in a son. Whether it’s his laid back attitude or his quick wit , he brightens up our family’s life by just being himself.

Tim Marsh

Groomsman

Tim marsh : my brother from another mother ...Tim is a friend and has always been there for me when I needed him. I’ve also had some of the best times of my life with Tim, from the most epic camping trips & raging parties to some very grueling road trips. Tim and his family have always treated me like my last name was Marsh ... it truly was my adopted family and Tim is my bro. Back in the day when I felt the whole world was against me Tim had nothing but positive advice for a guy. Never a hater always a congratulator. There is not too many of us left that call this little piece of soil named Black H

Aaron Beckstrom

Groomsman

Aaron Beckstrom: SWEETIE!! Aaron has probably made me laugh the hardest and the most out of anyone in my life. He’s the best kind of friend, the kind of friend you can take off and hide out from the ol lady with… for days if necessary. If you’ve never had the pleasure of having a beer with Sweetie I feel bad for you because the dude is pure gold after a few, a frickin comic genius. I know we’re all a little bit older now but I couldn’t get married without one of my all time faves in my corner.

Angelo Howey

Jr. Groomsman

Angelo Howey : when I finally got a little brother it was very exciting and being able to watch him grow has been so awesome. Angelo can out-fish, out-hunt, and out-work most grown men, so needless to say the kid’s got skills. I can’t really call him my little bro anymore because over the last year he decided he needed to be 6’ 2” but it’s okay because I always wanted a basketball player in the family.

Kingston Richmond

Jr. Groomsman

Kingston Richmond : The one time in my life that I can actually say it was love at first sight was the first time I saw Kingston. Anybody who has seen his baby pictures can understand. But nothing can compare to the first time he called me dad . I’ll remember that moment for the rest of my life because I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be, doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing. Since then Kingston has grown up to be honest, compassionate, smart, respectful and hilarious. Like his good grades and his love for ...pretty much the whole planet ...
