Our Story

English: Richard and I met April 1st, 2021 in Bad Blankenburg, Germany. Deutsch: Richard und ich trafen uns am 1. April 2021 in Bad Blankenburg, Deutschland.

We were friends for 6 months and it was the sweetest time of getting to know one another.

After I had graduated from my school, I went to Switzerland for 10 days and Richard decided to surprise me!

He came to surprise me because he knew it was always a little dream of mine to have a picnic in the Alps. I've never understood the importance of pursuit until this day.

Our first time flying together :D SOOO much FUN! I LOVE traveling with You Bean!

We finally got to travel to my home in Minnesota December 2021 so he could meet my family and friends!

December 22nd 2021... The day I had the honor to say "yes" for the rest of my life! (Ask us to tell you about "the ring story" haha)

I got to show him all around my favorite places in Minne!

I moved back to Minnesota and we had to do long distance for 9 months... Luckily Richard got to visit 2 times during that time!

Without either of us knowing, God led us both to Kona, Hawaii to pursue our next steps. YAY for no long distance for 3 months!

When he is in school all week and I am teaching all week, Saturdays are for dates!

This is us, hosting a Thanksgiving dinner with friends in Hawaii.

I am ready to run into the rest of our lives together! What an adventure it has already been and will continue to be!
